After doing my first "from scratch" PC build about a year ago (sig for specs), I've been wanting to either upgrade to or build a more future-proof rig. I probably would have started building my own desktops earlier than that, but I had a slightly larger project taking up most of my time and budget...
Needless to say, recent changes in employment have made a project like this a little more feasible, plus using some of the new tech that has hit the market has piqued my interest. Onto the plan for the build!
After settling for a budget Rosewill Challenger case for my first build (which is by no means a bad case for the money!), I soon realized how important it was, both aesthetically and functionally, to have a nice case. I wanted something different though. I'm not big on bright LEDs and glossy black exteriors. So when I saw this C70 case, and found the specs to my liking, the plan began forming in my brain.
The olive drab is nicely done, the front I/O panel is clever and simple (check out that reset switch!), and all of the features and quality I've come to expect from Corsair is there. So why not do a military themed build with it?
