Small update for you guys:
Been super busy with school, first round of midterms last week (3 in a week, plus lab reports due ) but I survived. Been tight on funds lately, but I did order my Corsair AF case fans while Newegg was running that 20% off sale. Those will be here tomorrow, pics will follow .
I haven't seen a whole lot of people running the modular sleeved cables from Corsair, and while I know that most people end up sleeving their own, I have to recommend these sets. Now, mine was 1/2 normal price since Corsair ran that 40% off sale plus the 10% coupon code, which makes it a sweet deal. My build is headed in a "no-frills" minimalist direction, and I think these straight black cables look great. Let me know what you guys think. (Though I still have to buy the AX850 they plug into lol)
For reference from Corsair's site, included 9 cables:
One (1) ATX Main Mother Board Power Connector 24 pin (20+4)
One (1) EPS/ATX 12V Power Processor Connector 8 pin (4+4 split, 8pin PSU mating connector)
One (1) EPS/ATX 12V Power Processor Connector 8 pin (4+4 split, 12pin PSU mating connector)
Two (2) PCI-Express Connector 8 pin (6+2 split)
Two (2) Serial ATA, SATA, Power Connector
Two (2) Peripheral Flat Power Connectors (4pin)
Oh, and one more thing. The solid side window mod has been put on hold for the time being. The local hardware store I get my acrylic from only carries the 5mm (0.25in) in a 24 inch by 48 inch sheet that would cost me around $70. So unless I have some C70 buddies who want me to make them a side window and will help cover some of the cost, I will have to wait. I can put that money towards something not cosmetic.
