Yeah it's projected to get here on Tuesday.  I might even try my hand at a video review. Would have to use my webcam probably because my point&shoot is awkward to take video with.

I'm planning to paint them, I'm going to see how the fans included with the H100i are colored and go from there.  Thanks! thumb.gif

This build looks great so far!

I've been considering getting the C70 case with Ax760i and H100i combo.

I've got my Mobo on order - Gigabyte z77-UP5 TH and have a X-Live Titanium HD which just turned up today. smile.gif

This case does look awesome and the decal you chose to place on the side gave me ideas wink.gif

Please do a video review of the H100i. If you can perform a mod to push / pull with thinner fans that would be great, If possible.

Subscribed to to thread and look forward to the updates on how this build goes.

All the best!

Thanks!

The new i-series Corsair units look really nice, and the fact that you can control the PSU from the desktop with the Link software is just awesome. I kind of wish I had waited for these power supplies but I really wanted a fully modular setup for the looks.  Who knows, I may swap one in down the road wink.gif

I love the blank back side of the case, it is just a great big canvas to work with. Hopefully I can either use that decal I found or come up with something that does the build title justice.

I'm going to get my "video review" setup tested over the weekend.  I've never done one before and I need to see whether my camera or my HD webcam will shoot better video.  I don't have any thinner fans on hand to test, but I can and will certainly take measurements to see what might or might not work. I'll be sure to test it and thanks for the suggestion!

-------------------------------------------------------

On another note, I received my 3570K yesterday, and went ahead and installed it.  Runs great even though it's under the stock cooler for now.  I'm absolutely loving the Thermal Radar software that came with the Z77 Sabertooth mobo, and the UEFI BIOS.

AX850 should be on my doorstep today sometime.  H100i is set to arrive on Tuesday.  Can't wait to have the funds to order my GPU (GTX670 or 680? yessir.gif)

Here she is with the AX850 and sleeved modular cables installed, waiting for the H100i. I also swapped out the red rings in the Corsair fans for the white ones.  I'll either leave them like that or paint some black/OD eventually. This PSU is leaps and bounds better than the CX500 I had in here before.  Makes zero noise unless I'm doing something intensive. The sleeved cables and the full modular design just make everything look so clean.  Oh and a shot of the cable routing on the back, an OCN exclusive tongue.gif.

I know lots of people have put their TUF sticker right there, but honestly, it's the best spot for it.

Everything is working great so far. Still very impressed with this Sabertooth motherboard, I'll never cheap out on a motherboard ever again. The diagnostic LEDs, Thermal Radar/AI Suite software, layout, fan overtime... it is just all good.

Only thing odd is with this stock Intel cooler, I have two cores running 5-10*C hotter than the other two all the time... Now the temps aren't bad at all, they're great, and I'm still running everything at stock speeds, but I'm just wondering whether they will balance out once I install the H100i. For reference:

And I've confirmed this with RealTemp.

Anyways, have a good weekend everybody!

Looks good, Nice job on the Video!

Be interested to see your temps etc. Did you manage ti fit a push/pull in the end? Looks a squeeze but possible even if using special slim fans on one side.

Thanks! I'm interested to see as well. I am trying to familiarize myself with the Intel OC'ing method, but I'll get there eventually (My last build was AMD).  Push/Pull would be possible with some slim fans on the other side, but no way a standard 25mm fan will fit in my opinion. I may pick up some slim Scythes (They're only like $6 a piece) and try it.

Here's the next "installment" of the video series. Had some questions about noise levels and the LED in the other thread here: http://www.overclock.net/t/1323989/new-corsair-hydro-h80i-and-h100i-thoughts/0_50

From my other post:

"As a resolution to the "grinding" noise you hear during the video, I unplugged the included fans that came with the H100i and plugged in 2 other fans I had laying around. The noise immediately went away.  I'm going to definitively rule out the pump as the cause, and say that the fan bearings are the culprit. We'll know for sure tomorrow when I install the SP120s I ordered."

So the fans which come with the H100i are not good? I've been looking at the Cougar Fans and they are under 20db but push over 70CFM!! I was gonna replace the system fans in my build and get a few extra for the front and bottom but if the H100i fans need replacing I might just buy a complete set.

6x 120mm (2 Front Panel, 1 HD Cage 1 Rear and 2 H100i) Cougars and 2 x 140mm Cougars for the bottom, Gonna cost a fair bit but they'll be worth every penny I think. Your thoughts?
