Are they running at max speed? Hopefully I don't have to worry about them because I'll have them mounted vertically.

How did the push pull affect your temps?

Nicely done on the push pull, I'll have to give it a go on my rig when it all turns up.

I like them a lot. Though I've never had any other name brand fans until these. Only thing so far is that they make an ever so slight noise when run upside down. But for the amount of air they move at low RPM, I will gladly take a little extra noise.

That is probably the bearing noise, I have a question why are you calling the H100 the H100i?

Haven't done any testing on temps yet. With just push it was a huge decrease in load temp versus the stock Intel cooler, but I'm still trying to find the best way to OC on an Intel system. This is my first Intel build.

You'll need 8 extra 6-32 1.25" screws to mount the 2 additional fans. And a friend there for some extra hands would make it go much quicker.

The SP120s on the H100i are running around 1000RPM, and the AF120s are running around 1150 RPM. I have my case sitting on top of my desk and all I hear is a gentle woosh. I can hear my mechanical hard drive over them. I'm not worrying with them running upside down, cause the noise is almost unnoticeable. It's definitely not a "Oh god I'm running upside down my bearings are going to explode" kind of noise.  haha tongue.gif

I'm pretty sure it is bearing noise now that you've pointed out the hydro-bearing issue.

Cause that's what it is. The new H100i from Corsair: http://www.corsair.com/us/hydro-series-h100i-extreme-performance-liquid-cpu-cooler.html

Enjoyed your build log so far. It's coming along very nice. When I see this case and how the front is designed I would invert it 90 degrees like my RAVEN RV02 case.

Going to keep a look out for a hot deal on those corsair power supply cables, they look very nice.

I think they still are.

I think original price is $89.99.

I imagine that's because the AX series is going away in favor of the AXi units.

So I'm starting to work on overclocking this 3570K now that the H100i is in and set up in push/pull.  I'm aiming for max load temps in the low 80s. Is that a worthy goal? I want this to be 24/7 stable, even if that means dropping a few hundred MHz from the clock.  Here's what I'm at right now.  4.3GHz @ 1.216v according to CPU-Z.

I'm still confused by the wide variance in temperatures. Do I need to lap my CPU and block? Because if all 4 cores ran like core 3 we'd be in business.  Let me know if you want to see my BIOS settings, I'll take screenshots.  Thanks in advance!

Oh ok, I didn't know they started doing that for their radiators, I knew they started doing that with some of their higher power PSUs though.
