Which tubing is best for watercooling? - Page 3

I also am very very satisfied with Tygon Neoprene. I've tried DD's Dream tubing, Primochill and Tygon Ultra soft tubing. ALL have had plastisizer problems and clouding within months. I've been running Tygon neoprene now with and without glycol for just about 6 months and not a trace or spec when I take things apart. Get anti-kink though. This tubing is prone to kinking.

Norprene or Neoprene?

There is a difference. The 1/2 ID 3/4 OD Norprene (thick wall, not the thin wall crap) is pretty similar to Primochill tubing in the bend department.

Err right, norprene... redface.gif

And it kinks faster than promochill in the both times I've used it. I actually had to resort to some DD in certain bends in my build.

Been using the Advanced LRT tube from Primochill and its still 100% clear after 4 months. Contrast that with Tygon R-3603 which started dumping plasticizer in to my loop within a month. The Pro LRT tubing had the plasticizer issues in some batches. the Advanced LRT seems to be much improved in comparison
