Hello Everyone, Just purchased two MSI R6870 Hawk's in crossfire for my I7-3930K rig. High quality build and overclock like MAD. Whats amazing I have the number one score for 6870's in crossfire in FutureMarks data base and these cards are in the top 20 among the 7950 scores. These have to be the best 7870 cards made. Running 1300 Core and 6,200 Effective Memory on both cards. This is awesome for crossfire. Will post X score tomorrow...

3DMark11 Scores:

Total Score - P15,305
Graphic's - 15,752
Physic's - 15,755

I've had mine a week and am thrilled with the performance. I'm able to run BF3 now with a mostly ultra settings. I'm looking forward to a motherboard and cpu upgrade.

Naturally on my last 3DMark11 test I didn't save a screen shot but I scored a 7044 combined. My graphics score was over 8000.
Obviously my old Phenom II 965 BE is holding it back even though it's overclocked to 4.0 ghz.

Can anyone tell me why is the Hawk priced the same as the regular MSI 7870?

How much is the Phenom holding it back? Is it significant? Just wondering since i also have a 965be.
