Find me a gaming laptop - Page 3

Quite honestly, I wouldn't expect too much from an integrated Microphone, and it would be better to invest in a standalone one, IMHO.

If you are going with a Clevo-base laptop from like Sager at XoticPC, Malibal, or any other reseller, remember you need to add in the Operating System (unless you have your own and can save $80).

Both the Asus G75VW and P170EM are good options, and they come at about the same price if you configure the backlit keyboard and OS into the Clevo. The 1 year accidental coverage on the Asus (required registration) is nice to have in case of just shear bad luck. The Sager will have more potential to grow in the future though, since you can upgrade the GPU in the future if you want without replacing the entire laptop (assuming that the future GPUs continue to use the MXM 3.0b standard), while the Asus has it soldered onto the mobo or uses a proprietary MXM socket. Just be aware that mobile GPUs are quite expensive - moreso than their desktop counterpart.

Don't get a new gaming laptop with a GTX675M, its the old GTX 580M renamed, is far from being enough to run the new games at max. You can't max the settings on that chip, its 33% slower than the HD7970M on BF3 Ultra settings for example. HD7970M gets you about 36fps on ultra 1080p, here I put together a comparison chart for you, mobile gpus are much slower than the desktop variants, dont cheap out on that hardware if you want to game.

I recommend MSI G Series GT70 Laptop, it features the NVIDIA GTX 675M, you will never find a laptop with better graphic card under $1600.

You can see this comparison http://gaminglaptopsunder1000.net/best-gaming-laptop/, I will recommend MSI G Series GT70 Laptop, it features a NVIDIA GTX 675M graphic card. Even if not better than 7970M, but it is a great gaming laptop that can satisfy your need.
