Apparently there was a documentary on PBS at one point that looked into the history of AIDS. A bunch of researches were injecting monkeys with polio to test out their vaccines for that. But instead what happened is the Polio Virus then assisted AIDS into mutating into a virus that could affect humans. PBS never aired this documentary again after it's first time. /Conspiracy Theory

A quick search on this subject brought me here http://acelebrationofwomen.org/2012/07/hiv-a-mad-mutation-or-the-wrath-of-god/

Essentially, this article states why a group of scientists looking for the origin concluded that HIV couldn't have come from polio vaccinations but goes on to explain how a Hepatitis B vaccination is a much more likely source...

I love how the first thing some people think of when news like this comes out is overpopulation. As if the most viable and reasonable way of controlling population is AIDS. As if curing disease would be the biggest cause of overpopulation.
