I wonder how hard it is to get it through developer/publishers' thick skulls that every time they try to implement any kind of anti-piracy measures, to me they're as good as screaming "PLEASE PIRATE MEEEEEEE! THEN YOU'LL BE ABLE TO PLAY WHEREVER YOU LIKE, WHENEVER YOU LIKE, HOWEVER YOU LIKE, ."
I am willing to pay for a game and support the developers if they:
1) Let me install the game on my computer with just a CD-Key and then be fully playable
2) Not require anything else to play singleplayer
3) Not require anything else to play singleplayer
4) Not require anything else to play singleplayer
If they do anything else or try to pull any sort of funny DRM that restricts whether I can play while traveling or whatever, guess what? I'm keeping my money
Developers/publishers should always be REWARDED for making a game that is DRM-free, please support them and buy their game!
Likewise they need to be PUNISHED if they force DRM on you, don't buy their game and seek other ways to play it (if you're that desperate, there's always a way), do NOT give them your money.
If tens/thousands of players did this, some day publishers/developers may start to realize "hey, maybe forcing DRM is working against us?" They're slow in the head, very slow, but they'll catch on eventually.
