How exactly are we supposed to "go after the thieves"? I encourage my friends not to private but that's pretty much the extent of my involvement. Just because there are pirates doesn't mean EA should start treating me worse as a customer. I'm the one they are tying to get money from and that works a whole lot better if you keep yourself on my good side. If I decide I don't like what their offering or can't tolerate their business practices anymore I'll just go somewhere else.
At this point some of us have already stopped buying their products and others of us are loudly complaining letting them know their on the verge of loosing our business. Now it's up to them to pick what they want to do.
That's how business works neither party is entitled to service from the other side and as soon as it is not mutually beneficial for everybody it should just end.

It's likely I never even get to play this game as I only play single player games when I take my computer to work and its slow and I don't have a internet connection there.
I don't know why it worked now because I had already installed/activated through steam last night and played about 15 mins. Strange. Maybe It needed to update or something.
