H80 is currently installed with air passing from outside to inside of case. I will also have the H100 pulling cold air in from the outside

Love the board. the heatsink you need to focus on is the one above the cpu socket. without any extra cooling, the surface of my heatsink reads 70 to 80c under full load (which means the vrm's are even hotter). I rigged up my delta. propped it up on the video card and used zip ties to secure it and watched the heatsink temps drop below 50c. you wont need it for day to day use but during prime runs it is good to keep those VRM's cool.

first of all how are you getting your room that cold??? i would love to have that. is 1.34 what you need to be stable?

do you have a HAF X? i have both the 200m fans in, and I'm running the h100 with 4 fans in p/p.

so do you think i should use the rear exhaust as a intake instead? that should blow air over that top heat sink. im just worried about there not being any exhausts with the h100 replacing my 200mm

You aren't doing anything wrong. 22nm means very dense cores and the new 3d tri-gate transistors have very low leakage. the problem is, the heat stays in the chip. and very little of the heat reaches the surface where it can be transferred to a heatsink or water block. that is why you will see little difference between air and liquid cooling on the ivy bridge chips. the only way to really keep them cool is dice or ln2.

What kind of case do you have and how are your case fans? TIM application and what kind of TIM you use do affect the temperature too.

yes, and the the radiator should be blowing up out the top of the tower for 2 reasons. 1st, hot air rises so the heat comming off the rad will naturally want to go up and out and the second reason being, you don't want that hot air blowing back into the tower.

There doesn't seem to be any front intake fans for your case. You might as well set the rear fan into sucking air in if you put the H100 on top.
