Just an FYI for my fellow 360 owners, Rainbow 6 Las Vegas is available on marketplace as a demo. Download it and let us all know your opinions of it.

I DL'd it, I have to get used to the lighting as it's utter crap (at least in the beginning), I spent a good 4 minutes hopping out of the heli and trying to find the rope down, but it could be more user error . The controls are different than GRAW so there's another thing I'm not used to

I'll give it a go again later today and give a better assessment...I just felt like playing Tiger 07 more last night

I was a little unimpressed by the graphics. The gameplay is, in my opinion, very good. The AI is incredibly smart and will force you to take cover and at the same time they are taking cover too. There was one time I was pinned down by one enemy and then I got flanked by one of his buddies. Stay on your toes if you plan on playing this thing.

Yeah I wasn't too impressed with the graphics either...did you notice a lot of ghosting in the background with the lights?? My LCD is 8ms and I haven't seen ghosting like that ever.

Maybe that's just the nature of lights at night but it had it seem like I was tripping on LSD.

I didn't notice any ghosting but it may be designed that way since lights will usually have that effect at night if you are moving at a high rate of speed. I just thought the face mapping wasn't as good as I thought it could have been.

There was severe ghosting on the lights during the helicopter landing scene but in game the graphics were fine (and mighty good looking) I think the new controls take getting used to but are very intuitive once you're used to them, this game is harder than I ever remember R63 being lol, but it seems like a fun game, can't wait until I can play the full version.

yeah, when I saw the ad for it the graphics looked pretty average..
I think I'll pass on this one.. Tom Clancy needs to push for a little more innovation to his games to interest me.

its kinda like all those skateboarding and bmx games out there, after a while... yawn..

I DL'd it, awesome Demo. The Graphics are ok, but Gears of War is still Numero 1 on my game list. It froze 2 times though.

I liked the vegas demo. Much better than Lockdown. I hated that one. The L-trigger cover is really a cool feature and the ability to carry two rifles at once will make it more interesting. I don't like the way you switch from night to thermal vision. You can only quick-switch to one mode or the other. I wish it were like Splinter Cell where you can go directly from thermal to night rather than have to hold a button and use a menu. Anyway, I think shooting terrorists in the head with a pistol while hanging upside down from a rappelling rope on the side of a casino is probably the most satisfying thing ever.

Maybe I'm weird, but I was a little surprised at the bad language the bad guys use. It doesn't offend me or anything, but I was thinking, my little brother is 10. He plays violent games. My mom would have no problem buying him a game where he's shooting guys. But she definitely would not want to hear F**K you and P*ssy coming from the living room. It seems like the language doesn't add anything to gameplay while at the same time shrinking the marketable audience. Bad decision if you ask me.

Side note, I experienced some slow frame rates in this demo. Anyone else?
