I just mount a hold down plate right on top of the clamshell and use longer fasteners.

The plate pictured has mounting for AM2/3, 775, 1155/56, 1366/2011 & 754/939. The plastic is fairly thick on the LS clamshell and can be drilled/tapped.. I used 8-32 x 1/4" screws for this one.

Poitres wants me to pay 32 euro for a 42mm plate and told me to bodge it on rolleyes.gif
