Hello all....im new to overclock.net and i would like to ask for some help and i hope

this is the right page to ask,if not im sorry.....I built my first and only gaming rig 3 years

ago and it has performed great but now its time to upgrade.I need to know,first,if ishould upgrade my mobo

its an asus p6d x58 premium mobo.....was top of the line like 3 years ago,if i need to upgrade please

give advice on which mobo to go with.Second,my cpu is an I 7 930,overclocked to 3.8 ghz...again if i need

to upgrade please give advice on which intel to go with.My gpu's are 2 evga 570 sli,and im going to upgrade those with 2 evga 680s...

again i hope this is the right place to post,if not im sorry and thanks for all the help....thumb.gif

It's better to use create a new rig instead of just listing it. Follow ACHILEE5's link "How to put your rig in your sig".

Also what will this be used for?

But anyway, what you put is fine I guess.

IMO, your rig is still quite good. if you really want to upgrade now, then you'll have to replace both the Mobo and the CPU. New architecture, new sockets... An LGA1155 Ivy Bridge Setup should be fine.
