Razer BlackWidow Replacement Caps??

I am looking to get some different color key caps for my Razer BlackWidow. I know you can get replacement MX Cherry key caps but they are not the same shape as the BlackWidow keys. They have a different profile with each row sitting having a different angle. I also know that you can use the RIT dye to simply change the color of the keys myself but I haven't seen anyone dye black keys before and don't know what the result is going to be. So does anyone know where I can get new WASD key caps for a BlackWidow?

Short Version:
BlackWidows have varying shapes per row so regular cherry keys won't be the same (I know they'll still work but won't feel the same)
I haven't seen any one able to dye black keys so I don't know how RIT will work out
Does anyone know where I can find this shape keys or a link to the RIT dye working on black keys?

You can find some key here but I'm not too sure the modifiers will fit.

Choice of colors, Laser etched/engraved, blank, with and without arrows, Filco/OEM profile caps

Wide range of colors but stock varies, only available blank (at least at a reasonable cost), choice of pbt/abs, SP profile is shorter than Filco, $1/ea keycap
To put together a WASD set, order one '1x Row2' and three '1x Row3' caps from DCS ABS/PBT in stock blanks

I've looked at both of those sites but the second one seams to have a minimum $100 per order requirement (listed in the FAQ). The first one looks good but once again I really don't know what kind of profile they will be. I wish they had an image from the side. If you look at the blackwidow it has a very dramatic key profile from one row to another.

I'm pretty sure the $100 minimum order value at keycapsdirect (Signature Plastics) is only for custom key caps. You should be able to order in stock items without $100 minimum. I bought 26 blank keys last week.

Hi.

I just changed the keys on my blackwidow. I'm quite positive that the stock one sucks. Everything fit except for the bottom row on the main cluster (ctrl, windows key, alt key, space, alt, fn, that random key and the final ctrl).

I choose to leave the F keys because of the media icons. The macro keys are also stock.


I had a set laying around from a broken keyboard so it was worth it for me. I wouldnt pay money to replace them, it's not worth it since you will be left with at least 8 keys from the original blackwidow (if you choose to replace the F and M keys).

The keys come from a Rosewill RK9000 v2.

You can definitely see the difference between the stock keys and the new ones. I was looking at just the WASD keys for the looks and easy identification of those keys during gaming. The big issue I'm having is with the profile. Hope replacement keys aren't too far off.

There arent any other colour available, but they give you the key puller and it's 5$.

I have a Black Widow Ultimate, and I ordered a set of blank blue keycaps from WASDKeyboards and it was a set for the entire letter and symbol section and nothing more. I haven't felt a change in the spacing, or shape of the keys. Check them out.
