Agreed, 500 terawatts @ 1 trillionth of a second is the same amount of energy as 500 watts for 1 second, not that exciting when you think of it in those terms.

I don't see the article actually mention the length of time though. 1.85 mega joules is surely more than 500 watt seconds though.
