Where, how, what OS a purchase takes place on means little. Someone could buy something from Linux and only intend to play it on Windows, or any which way of combinations

Well, both of us are smart enough to understand that kind of data gathering could be "inaccurate" but I figured it would still help Valve convince the less intelligent company heads that run the studios. After all, executes love power points and graphs with numbers.

if they had steam and source games on linux I would start using that as my primary OS.

Its just so much nicer than windows!

I so wish they'd have this ready sooner though. I want to game before classes start up again and I'll be stuck dealing with spreadsheets for entertainment for 4 months.
