Hi All
I'm running my second rig in sig as at HTPC in the lounge.
In the lounge I had a DVI to HDMI adapter (which came with my card) connected to a HDMI cable to the lounge TV. This setup is awesome and AMD HDMI audio (something I never knew existed lol) works fine so both video and audio go through the HDMI cable into the TV.
Last night I finally got round to moving my old flat screen into the bedroom. I have run a HDMI cable under the floor from the HTPC in the lounge into the TV in the bedroom.
The problem is that AMD HDMI audio does not get sent down the second DVI port in my graphics card (which is going to the second TV in the bedroom). Video works fine, but no sound.
I found out that AMD HDMI audio will not send two signals out each port so I'm in a bit of a jam.
I'm just wondering, will using something like this: http://www.computerstore.co.nz/AT-HDMI-TO-HDMIX2.aspx
Allow me to connect both my lounge TV and my bedroom TV to the same port on my graphics card, and both TV's getting a duplicate video and audio signals? (Which is what I want).
Thanks in advance.
