Hi Everyone! I've been using these forums for quite a while, I just never got around to making an account or posting anything. Finally decided to make an account and say hi

Been a hardware enthusiast and overclocker for quite a while, fairly experienced, never went extreme yet though, that may change in the future.

My System History:
First computer.... Intel i486 33Mhz... 66Mhz (With the TURBO button Pressed ) Windows 3.1.1 16MB Ram lol

Pentium Pro 200MHz (@233Mhz:thumb:) Windows 95 32MB Ram

Pentium III 533B @533MHz Windows 98SE 128MB Ram

AMD Thunderbird 900MHz 256MB Ram Windows Me

AMD Athalon64 3200+ 1GB Ram Windows XP (woo first 64 bit cpu available) Still in school here, just starting to get a taste of building systems, but no money for anything nice yet.

Core2Duo E6600 Conroe @3.2GHz, Asus Striker Extreme Motherboard. My first water-cooled system, Swiftech Apogee GT, MCP655 Pump, Black Ice 240 Rad, 8800GTX with a dangerden block... also my first leak... weee burning capacitors and melting motherboards. Good learning experience haha

Ivybridge Gamer/Tester: i7 3770K @5GHz 1.336V ~68C P95, Maximus 5 Gene, 16GB TridentX 2400MHz, GTX 580 http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2404373 Was just testing the waters with the IB chips, pretty happy with it overall but I figured I'd go all out and try to run 7680x1440 on a different build. Used this for some gaming while I built my "All Out" system, may end up selling it later, or keep it for some sort of folding/lan use.

The plan is to run (or try to) 7680x1440 in the future, with a 3rd 680 coming in the next month or two, possibly a 4th.

I didn't actually use windows much with that first computer haha, it was all in the 3D menu and dos. Playing Duke Nukem(side scroller) and one of those space invader type games. Oh and kings quest lol. I musta tossed it when I moved or something, I've still got most of my other hardware...

it wasn't actually 3d lol, thats just what it was called. It ran from dos before you loaded windows 3.1 or 3.1.1, and you could load games from it faster than windows could boot up. It pretty much looked like the pre UEFI generation BIOS, a blue menu that had some drop shadows so they called it "3D" its been like 17 or 18 years since then, I can hardly remember what it looks like now haha

all I remember is that one of my favorite games was wacky wheels, it was like a mario kart ripoff for dos
