How to stream or share my videos from my computer to the internet? - Page 2

You could look at something like TVersity, or even go as far as Windows Home Server 2011 which has a full library browsing feature and steams videos based on your connection.  It sets up web page so you would need to port-forward port 80 at least.

You could try dropbox, not exactly what you're looking for, but it could work for your purpose. A method of actually sharing videos from your computer would be very difficult to set up.
Edit: something like a SSH server should do it though if you want to take that approach. Not sure how to do it in windows though, only ever done one in linux.

sounds like dropbox might be your easiest and best bet then.

Edit: well looks like you've covered that.

Kelvin, I see that you're using Windows 7 Ultimate, so you can use WMP to stream internet video for up to 10 remote computers as long as all the remote PCs are using the latest version of WMP. Instead of typing in all the instructions, I'll just link you to the official Microsoft tutorial. Note there are some limitations so make sure that you and your remote users meet all the requirements.
