Hi
I have TP-Link TL-WR1043ND router and I have it for 4-5 months. Last night there was thunderstorm and today wifi dosn't work anymore, but wired connection does and I can't get in router settings becouse typing 192.168.1.1 dosn't work and defult gateway shows strange ip like I would have connected to network without router. So my router is dead?

I'm no expert on this, but maybe the NVRAM got corrupt during the surge? Can you try a hard reset, if it's applicable for your router and do a power cycle? It's usually 30-30-30 for a hard reset, maybe you can try that and see if you can get the default setting up and the router page to be accessible.

How can I do that?
I only tried reset factory settings by holding down reset button for 5 sec.

I'd also suggest a factory reset from the button on the back.

Ideally, you realize that specifics are always appreciated..

Edit:
If it's not even giving you a layer of PAT from the WAN interface nor will reset I'd chuck it in the bin.

You could always try JTAG, but by the time you got all of the stuff to do it you might as well just have bought another router.
