When trying to run the install of the latest version of Ubuntu 12.04 32-bit, I keep encountering the same graphic issue. The GUI is all pixelated and messed up to the point where I cannot see anything. I can post a screenshot in a little bit, but I want to see if anyone knows a fix maybe that I could try or just tell me what they think is going wrong.
My setup is an i5-3570 w/ stock cooler, ASRock H77 mobo, 8 GB G.Skill RAM, 500 GB WD Caviar Blue, DVD Drive, and Corsair 430 Watt PSU. I am using the display ports on the I/O panel of the mobo, so no additional graphic cards whatsoever. I have tried a USB drive install as well as a DVD. I have tried different monitors and different ports (VGA and DVI). Everything comes out with the same conclusion: black pixels all over the GUI. It also loads incredibly slow or just gets stuck if I try to do a live boot of Ubuntu from disk or USB drive.
The UEFI BIOS loads perfectly fine with no graphical hitches whatsoever. The only problem that I encounter is when Ubuntu is actually running.
Again I can post up screen shots at a later time, but right now I am pressed for time.
Thanks again!
Here is a picture I took of the screen as I was trying to install Ubuntu on my machine. The pixelated part in the middle is the install setup.

I never had any problems installing ubuntu on a system ever before. I'm guessing its because of the new hardware, but this is just too wierd.
