Greetings! It has been a little while since I have posted release notes for an update, since over the previous weeks we've seen smaller-than-usual releases while the engineering team is moving full speed ahead to to wrap up the mobile version of the site. For today, we have some revisions to the image uploader we think you'll like, as well as a wrapup of bug fixes from the previous (silent) releases.
Over the last few releases, there have also been some gallery improvements that we have not yet implemented. More to come here, soon.
New Image Uploader - Now with bulk uploads, multiple sizes, and more!
For worklogs, case mods, and anyone else who just uploads a lot of pictures - this one is for you. The post editor's image upload tool has been rebuilt, and now allows you to multi-select files when uploading to the site (giving you an indication of overall progress as your files upload).
When your upload is complete, you'll be given a choice of multiple resolutions to use for the images in your post.

- 9198 - Now when a user is banned from a thread, at the top of the Insufficient Permissions page, they will see the error message, "You do not have permission to post in this thread. Please contact a site administrator if you believe this to be in error."
- 9414 - When sending a private message, users should only see one private message sent confirmation.
- 9340 - Submit and Preview buttons in private messages initiated from a classified post are now in their proper order.
- 8769 - Interface for "Edit Photo" dialog has been modified to more clearly describe the relation of the photo to its photoset.
- 9007 - Text size for image descriptions has been increased from 11px to 13px.
- 9394 - IE9 on Win7 showed the placeholder text for the username and password fields.
- 9165 - Searching for members with exclusively numeric usernames returned no results in certain cases. This has been resolved.
- 9353 - Consolidation of social group URLs
- 9247 - When a user belonged to a group which had its posts automatically held for moderation (i.e. House Arrested), the Insufficient Permissions error appeared, rather than the message alerting the user that their content had been held for moderation.
- 9600 - The "My Profile" tab will only be selected when you visit your own profile. It had been highlighted when visiting other users' profiles, too.
- 9468/9686 - The numeric pagination controls on the reputation audit screen should now function properly.
- 9437 - The yellow admin tools box on product pages will now offer the option to "Hold" a product for moderation. Held products will show a "Validate" option.
- 9430 - The activity stream was surfacing links to posts that were deleted or held for moderation. Clicking these was giving users a "post not found" error message. These links are now correctly suppressed from view in the stream.
- 9764 - we removed a superfluous check that disallowed featuring content that returned HTTP 404 errors. Instead, we leave it to the person featuring the content to make sure the page is valid
- 9636, 9369 - Photo counts for community albums were mistakenly including deleting photos. They now reflect the actual count of visible photos
- 9535 - some large gallery albums would prematurely disable the "Next" button when flipping through photos. This has been fixed so the button only becomes disabled at the actual end of the album.
- 7188 - social group members who are still pending when a group is changed from Private membership changes to Open membership are removed from the group so they can re-add themselves
- 9416 - If users do not have permission to create new albums, but they do have permission to upload to existing albums, they will now correctly see an "Upload Photos" button on the related pages.
- 9720 - Occasionally, the private messages inbox was seeing an additional # added to the end of its URL. This caused an extra hop in the browser back button in some cases. This has been resolved.
- 9841 - Unreviewed products no longer show any rank at all. Previously, all unreviewed products would rank in a tie for last place.
