yes i agree its a beta but cmon why didn't they say something about it being bad if im not the first one this has happend to?
Well its a beta for a reason. Works for some, Fails for some. It probably isn't "bad". Just didn't do good with your specific motherboard. They wouldn't put a warning label on it, because most people that use a beta like that know the risks. tongue.gif

Granted, yes they should give fair warning that it is in fact a beta, and that you should proceed at your own risk blah blah... and I don't want to bash you or anything. I'm just saying, a company isn't going to put out a new product and say, "Hey people are having problems with this, but you should use it anyway." I think "beta" sums that one up. Now if it were the case that they put out the update and failed to mention that it wasn't the end product, but simply a beta test, that's just wrong.

edit: didn't see the part about "non-beta". My bad. I don't know why we had this little discussion then. Oh well. Weird stuff.

This is what brought up the whole "beta" debate. You can understand my confusion.

thanks for the help though

I have to agree with the OP here, support down under is near non-existant. You can message them from NZ/Aus and you will get no response whatsoever, tried it with MSI for my hawks and Asus/Asrock for some friends motherboards. Its kinda like they don't want to deal with us; you run outta warranty from retailers and you're dead in the water.

OT, its up to OP whether he wants to spend $30ish on getting a bios replacement sent down that still has a probability to not fix the problem.

Tbh I'd wait to do a cold boot, make sure everything is on a proper test bed. A mate of mines rig wouldent boot inside his case but would work fine outside of it. I'd also get another stable system to do a diagnostic on each component.

When you say you clear CMOS,make sure you pull the battery too for atleast 5 mins, also press power button with battery out,psu unplugged to drain any residual power. Also try swapping SATA ports, sounds like your bios can't find boot device.
