Typing with wet hands - Page 3

If it does run down, I would be more worried about residue forming and clogging up the keys or switches.

Getting off hard drugs was pretty hard. Breaking my daily habits certainly would have been easier...!

If water drips, well then water will drip. If it ruins your board... then you'll break your habit pretty quick!
But I often don't bother drying my hands properly either, and my board is still alive... though my hands aren't sopping wet.

Mine aren't sopping wet either. Just slightly wet. Do yo use a mechanical?

And yep, I do.

Then I hope mine survives as well. I just put a spare towel next to my monitor to encourage myself to wipe my hands before typing biggrin.gif

And I wasn't offended or anything - I was just explaining that my hands were slightly wet. thumb.gif

These are NOT NiKola Tesla Voltages we are talking about here folks.

McRip effect.

PLUS the RipORuster showed little effects from a year outside.

Well, at least for ALPS and Cherry MX switches. IBM Buckling Spring not so much.

I can afford another mouse (I don't use expensive gaming mice. unnecessary for me) but not another keyboard. And my mouse survived for two years, maybe it will for another two.
