120hz really worth to buy new monitor ? - Page 2

Benq xl2420t = best matted 120hz, best 3D features, best 24" 120hz monitor, great height/tilt adjustment

Samsung S23A700D = best glossy 120hz, best colors for 120hz, best image quality overall for 120hz, best 23" 120hz monitor, great for 2D gaming, not 24", not good for 3D unless you have AMD gfx card, horrible height/tilt adjusmtents.

both are great..top 2 in terms of 120hz monitors imo.

^ I agree to this. I went with my Planar because it was $280 shipped =P It was a great deal on a monitor with slightly more input lag, very good color, but not the perfection of the BenQ or the Samsung. My suggestion is to look at both of these monitors, if your budget is permitting, and read the reviews and see which one stands out as what you want.

And I agree, 3D gaming isn't exciting, I've never even tried 3D. All I'm interested in is 120hz.

I have the S23A750D and it's great.

Just last week I built my buddy's computer and installed the XL2420T and I was stunned.
It made my 750d look like crap. First off, it can pivot, rotate, tilt with 1 finger... I need 2 hands to tilt my 750d...

XL has a lot more options of 120hz, while the s23 has only 1 port, DP.
I've been staring at this 750D for 7 months now and I thought it was great. However, the BenQ's picture quality is far better than mine.
If you can get the XL for a decent price, hands down a better build and quality imho.

I'm slowly looking for an excuse to sell this monitor to get a BenQ biggrin.gif

Hahahah

there is always an excuse to sell something bro. Always biggrin.gif

You  can put it up for sale and sell it to someone and than tell yourself that the guy really wanted that monitor and you did not have a choice.
