Otellini also confirmed that Intel's ultra-pole this expected this year, the range of products will occupy 40% of the notebook computer market sales ratio at the end of the year . However, from Williams Financial analyst Cody Acre (Cody Acree) said this is expected to "too advanced".

"Super Pole" is the direct software translation of "Ultrabook" in chinese words.

The article says $699 price point ultrabooks will come together with the win 8 release.

Ultrabooks.. not so ultra.. not books. $700 is a bit much, but people pay nearly that for crippled tablets and phones, so what the hay.

I don't want to have "ultrabook" stamped on my ultrabook. Do I need to have my phone labled with a "phone" label? Should I start carrying around a book with "book" written on the cover?

Hopefully that's just some dumb prototype.

Also, there's no way ultrabooks will take over a large portion of the notebook market until prices go down.
