Hey guys I'm trying to learn to program Java. Does anyone know of any good books or tutorials to start with?

See the fourth link in my sig.
It's not complete but the e-book I've linked to is a pretty good start. Also, thenewboston tutorials aren't bad either.

I agree with using thenewboston. I used his tutorials to help learn the android SDK. He does a good job at explaining everything. After you have the basics down, try making your own programs and just google where you need help. That is generally how I learn a new language, but I guess that depends on learning style.

Without Google, it'd be pretty difficult to make even a small program.
