Also like how some of you clowns are bashing it without ever using it, I have and while it isn't a revolutionary update it looks a lot better than before and there are some things that are good and bad

Not exactly but if EA would can their fat mouths and just push out updates quietly without them saying things like "we iz better then stemz iz" every week then I probably wouldnt be so keen on seeing them fail. I mean after several arrogant articles of claiming to be EA/Origin> Steam no contest and all they have in terms of a revolutionary update is just a clock I think its pretty darn pathetic.

The issue is that Origin is only for EA games. The thought of installing a program specifically to buy, check DRM for, and play the games of one developer is the issue here. If Steam only sold Valve games, I'm sure people would react similarly.

Where do they say they are better than steam? they sometimes say we do not like a certain way steam does things or we want to emulate steam' success but I have never heard them claim to be better than steam. EA is damned if they do and damned if they dont, imagine if they said we are not going to update origin at all, people would still be whining.

I for one don't hold any animosity towards Origin...

I would have done exactly the same thing as EA if I wanted to compete with Steam in the digital distribution market (make my blockbuster titles Origin exclusives), plus I like Origin's streamlined design, Steam is getting somewhat bloated.

The point is that someone was asserting that ea apparently say that OrIgIn Is better than steam all the time.

Your post only invalidates that claim and defends the argument you attempt to invalidate by confirming that they acknowledge they are not there yet.
