Okay yesterday i was browsing ocn, reddit, and listening to music on youtube, the normal stuff. When out of no where i got a random BSoD after i restarted my pc twice it finally didnt give me another BSoD, but a new problem occurred, i was hearing stupid advertisements EVERYWHERE and sometimes there would be 2-3 overlapping each other, i found it weird because i havent visted any weird sites or anything and literally was browsing ocn and reddit for the past 3 hrs before that nothing else. The BSoD i think was caused by my 5870. Because i just took the card out after my last BSoD and plugged my DVI into my onboard and everything is fine now. i dont hear any advertisements as well BUT Avast keeps popping up saying threat detected and that they blocked the site. i tried a full system scan but at around 10% last night guess what i got ... a BSoD.. so can anyone help? is my 5870 dead?
