I've been fighting an issue and I'm unsure what is the root cause. I'm selling my cards and I'm going to rma the mb with amazon just to make sure it wasn't the mb causing this issue. Basically, after 10 minutes of gaming, everything just crashed.

Are you using Lucid Logic MVP. When I have Lucid Logic Virtu MVP v2.1.115a the newest Version Running Call Of Duty MW3 fails to launch if I disable it of uninstall it everything works fine. Just a suggestion of what could give you problems. I submited error logs to Lucid Logic on Version Virtu MVP Software 2.1.115 but the new one still dosen't work right for me.

Where can I disable it?
I see that you have a 2700k sandy bridge. So this probably not the problem you are having. It's a program you install after the operating system. so I disable it from the task bar. or look in the control panel, uinstall or change a programs. I have 3770k and Lucid Logic uses the integrated graphics with your discrete gpu for GPU virtualization. http://lucidlogix.com/driverdownloads-mvp.shtml. It sound more like a over heat or power supply issue.

Power would have shut down the hole system. I do have a pretty good psu so I don't think its that. I already disabled the integrated gpu so its not that. The most common clue was either drivers or not enough power through the pcie slots. Anyways, amd is more headache than I want so I'm going back to Nvidia and the mb is being rma'd just in case.

if there is a way to change PCI-E mo0de with PCI-E 3.0 GPUs try put them in PCi-E 2.0 mode through the BIOS. Or also plug in the extra power connectors ont he board if you haven't already. I know many users have issues with 3-way and 4-way when they don't plug in the extra connectors. Also if you have an extra device, try DPC latency chcker, somtimes they can cause DPC latency like a PCI sound card or some certain USB devices and they can cause BSOD.

Actually, to enable the four remaining pcie slots, you need to plug at least one of the auxiliary 6-pin connectors. I did some more (and exhaustive) testing and I'm now probably looking into a bad gpu. And tbh, as soon as this one went in, all hell broke loose. So I may have had my answer in front of me all along redface.gif
