I disagree. Time & again nVidia chipsets have proven inferior to Intel chipsets when used with the Intel platform. That's just teh current state of things right now. Once nVidia gets the 6xx series chipsets going, that may change, but right now, they're not available, and are unproven at this time. The only real proven performers for C2D and C2 Extreme right now are the Intel 975X & 965 chipsets. DFI should have their mobo based on the ATI RD600 chipset that should dominate the field, but again, it's not released to the public yet and as such, I consider unproven.
