Hi guys
I get in windows update a Steelseries HID ,should i install it or use just normal windows mouse HID?
Atm i use SS Sensei without drivers or the windows update HID from SS.
Windows HID works just fine i think ,why should SS make there own HID hardware input..

The moment you plugin your Sensei, you should get a confirmation that SteelSeries HID has installed upon boot. There shouldn't be any windows update for it, at least I haven't got it yet for my Sensei. Regardless of that I'd suggest using it driver-less. You can configure almost every aspect of the mouse using the bottom LCD, so there's no need for it unless you change your LED colors/and or need special macros. I feel there is some anomaly when I've it installed, idk why but I guess that's just me.

I installed the drivers just to configure the LED lights, the bitmap image, saved it to profile 1 and I'm good to go. biggrin.gif
