MSI 6770 Vmem mod

I have the option to increase the core voltage in msi afterburner but nothing for the memory. My stock clocks are 800/1100 and i can take my memory to a max of 1250 which is just a 150 increase and not much. Want to push it further to 1350. For this i need volts. This is the card that i have http://www.msi.com/product/vga/R6770-MD1GD5.html Was hoping that i could pencil mod and increase the memory voltage. Is it more risky than increasing the core voltage? I have no clue on how to pencil mod:D but willing to give it a shot for the extra clocks;)

Can you show some PCB pics so we can find the controller and figure out the mod? Clear big pictures.
Voltage rising is risky in every, way core or mem. But for moar MHz it isn't big of a deal. As long as you don't use it for 24/7.

I was thinking of 24/7 usage. For the core whats the max safe voltage for 24/7 usage?

I have the same card i have my core clock at 850 and the memory clock wont budge for some reason? Is it safe for me to push 900Mhz without Changing any voltage settings ?

For 24/7 you can have 1.2v, depending on the temp.

How does 1.237 sound? With max temps on 88c? This is on stock cooling. Was hoping on getting an aftermarket cooler but don't know which one would fit.

Mmmm that's a high temp. Try spinning up the fan with manual fan control in afterburner to get it at least under 75 with those volts. We are talking about lifetime here. The card will work fine even with 1.3v or more. But not for a long time (depends on the card). So if you wanna clock it as high as it possibly can go, try keeping the temps down as much as possible!
What are you using for stability and heat testing?
For an aftermarket cooler try searching for something that would probably fit.

Using furmark and msi kombuster. Dirt3 is also a good benchmark to test for stable clocks. I'm using the cooler master elite335 cabinet. Can airflow or anything else bring down the gpu temps? I've had a look at the Accelero L2 PLUS cooler but not sure whether it would be much better than my stock cooler or not.
