Air flow can help especially for the design of that card. 88C is VERY hot. I would bring down the voltage and the clocks as its really not worth that much extra heat just to get a little bit more performance. You should try to find a way to deal with the current amount of hear (which is alot) before modding it and risking burning it up.

How could i bring down the temps with airflow? My case provides for a fan at he side facing the gpu. Should i hook up a fan their? Use it as an intake fan or an exhaust fan? My max temps on stock clocks are 72c,isn't that too high?frown.gif

Do you have air flow going over or passing the card?

Furmark and kombustor just bring up the heat and don't really test for stability... Don't know about Dirt3 though.
I use Unigine Tropics and Heaven. They stress the card + test stability and bring up the memory usage as well...
Crysis bench tool is good too... In my option. And furmark can burn your card. Not a good thing LOL

In that case only huge fan speed will bring the heat down. And that cooler should be better than the stock one, but not by an amazing amount. Don't think it's worth the money for +20MHz LOL
This one is overkill, but will keep the heat/noise down + the price isn't too high.
You can also use it on future cards. If you're planing on buying new stuff.

I just have an 80mm intake fan and a 120mm exhaust fan. I'm not sure if that cooler will fit my card. Any suggestions?

That will help a little bit, but it will also bring more dust in. These are the coolers that WILL fit a 6770
