In reality, its the same CD, it just doesnt have the fancy box, manual, or anything like that. Its just the CD, and a "getting started" guide to include with the computer you sell it with. They are the same CD, and if im not mistaken, you can legally have it going on three computers. The OEM version just has a different EULA printed on the packaging saying that this copy should
only be installed the one computer its being sold with.
since its the same thing, i dont see why people pay $200-300 for the retail version when they can get the OEM version for $90-140... no one reads the manuals anyway, and if you cant figure out that you push "next" to install it, you shouldn't be installing it yourself.
Though with the transfer limit gone, they can load us down with the frickin DMR Crap, Theres always ways around those...
