MS removed transfer limit for Vista!! - Page 4

With them lifting the restrictions I'd say they did that because they found a new way to battle Piracy and just said they're doing it for the 'enthusiasts', just to make us happy .

For $400 they better do that.

I think I'm going for the VISTA that has everything. Just like I went for XP Professional and not the Home Edition.

I'm just wondering if it'd be a better idea to get the upgrade version or the full version? Just install over (a fresh installation of xp) XP Pro or start a new fresh install of Vista.

OEM or RETAIL? I've always had retail but I'm thinking OEM this time just to save a few bucks.

well if you can rienstall and your goonna spend a pretty dime anyways i would say just get the retail full version, imo

how ready we are to believe M$ is thinking about the enduser,
when it is so clear that all available M$ products are designed
with maximum profitability and exclusive access to advertising
in mind...
your browser
your player
your search engine
your purchases
your security
your messaging
your email
your documents
your RAM...

your bootay

Microsoft wants them all
and continues to peel them
layer by layer from your PC
mind and budget.
dont be fooled
this is advertising
the kind that promotes
the aura of good will where
there is none...
anti trust suits aside
bill and the boys still have a firm grip
on personal computing and therefore
the freest of free hands
the only thing between M$ and unobstructed
free reign over consumer choices IS our willingness
to complain and furthermore to change software
which we (including myself) are not so quick to do.
so take this good feeling:
"YES! We won this time"
and remember that the possibility does exist
and
that there is power in the voice of dissatisfied endusers
it may need to be raised again
don't forget you have one.
