Anyone ever used this

Its called Plasti Dip, and it's used like spray paint and has a finish like powder coat. The only exception is it peels off if you don't want it anymore. i was thinking I could use it to paint the inside of my case and it would be a cheaper alternative to spending all the time painting or money taking it to the powder coaters in my area. Check out the link and let me know what you think.

Actually I did. It acts like a bit of an insulator as well. Case temps went up 2-3 degrees Celcius. Helps dampen noise though.

There has been a few mods with it here too. The most noticeable one was from our one of our members, grunion.

Yep, people use it all the time on their case insides. Search the site, there are a bunch of threads. Don't expect it to peel off really easily on surfaces with allot of nooks and crannies. thumb.gif

In my experience, it attracts a lot of dust. I only used it to "black out" car emblems though.

Ya my brother turned me on to it when he used it for his wheels on his car. I figured it would be great on the inside of the TJ07 I just bought. Since it will be water cooled one of these days I think it would go great on the inside. Also I hope I wont ever have to take it off if it looks good. Thanks for the input guys.

Its also used to waterproof boards for LN2 and some of the more extreme cooling methods.
