70% alcohol?

Hi I want to remove the thermal paste that came with my stock cpu and heatsink, is it ok to use 70% alcohol to remove it?? or is that too high or too low???

Its fine. The water its diluted with is totally de-ionized, so it wont harm any of your components.

That is fine. Almost any light-weight organic will work just fine. You don't want to soak the cpu in it, but just using it to wipe of the top is fine.
