yeah, ive installed the new Nvidia Drivers which were released yesterday, and it seems that nvsvc32.exe isnt causing any problems anymore My system is at 41C and dropping slowly, so i think i may have found the root of the problem (strange as it was). I am reinstalling my AMD Drivers again, hoping tht will make a difference lol, can only hope Ill turn off CnC when i get the chance. Thx guys

I look into all these things u guys have mentioned ill start by reinstalling drivers and updating my BIOS, and if that doesnt help i mite give AMD a call, and play the stupid card (as my processor is still under warranty).
Do not forget the fact that your GPU can dump a lot of heat into your case when it is working hard, and I mean a lot! So if your drivers for the card are screwed, well so are you. Try a reload, can't hurt.

well, i think ive gotten it under control guys. I reinstalled drivers for both my processor and graphics card, as well as updating my bios, and it seems to have calmed down, am at a coolish 34C while idle, and around 43ish while under pressure, which is good enough for me I guess i just had some corrupt drivers or something on my system. thx a lot guys, the help was much appreciated!

Yeah my nvsvc32.exe is using 0% of the CPU and only 1.7k memory.. sounds like you got your problem solved

Not a problem whatsoever, I am glad to have helped - and hope that I did! I am happy to hear that you got your problem taken care of, and with minimal repairs/tasks required to do it. Also, did you check your heatsink/fan to see if perhaps there is some dust build-up in there? That could also be keeping in some extra heat. Remember, lower temps = less resistance, less resistance = better energy flow, better flow = a happier and more stable CPU.

Thats cool that I actually was correct about the drivers! It was one of the first things that had come to mind when initially reading your post. I wasnt positive that was the problem, but just an idea. With the help of the other Overclock.net members I knew that it wouldnt be long before you were running cool again. Take care friend!

Hey, be sure to use a can of compressed air, THEN suck all the dirt/dust up from the floor with a vacuum. My cousin toasted a PC back in the day just using a vac to suck all the dirt/dust out of the PC... unfortunetly the vac created a static field which totally screwed not only his ram, but his hard drive as well.
