Monitor won't display PC?

Thread Starter
Hi everyone, I recently moved my computer to my dads house and it worked fine on my 22" monitor. I tried to plug it into this other monitor (which works fine with the bad computer that is already here) The monitor itself is HD ready and compatible with TV connections and works perfectly with a worse computer, I turn the monitor on when it is plugged into my PC and the screen just goes blank, there's nothing coming up. I checked all power and connections even my GFX card was taken out and placed back in. I assumed my computer may be too powerful for the monitor? But i'm a novice so I don't know much, please help -

PS. I'm not sure if this makes a difference but the monitor that doesn't work with it is 50/60Hz and 240V, my PC is 550V and 47-63Hz

Thanks alot.
