I swore off ASUS for ages because of the multiple bad boards I got off them, but then I realised you'll always end up getting a bad board at least once from any company; it's just if everyones getting them that you stay away.

You have to remember that sometimes a "problem" with the board/anything can be down to a user not really knowing what they're doing or inadvertently causing a problem. (eg. The hilarious Steam on Mac video)
