Upgrading out of Razer - Page 3

Not long after I got my mamba I stopped using it. I tried to get used to it but the z-axis issues drove me nuts. It is like a wireless DA but the DA is still night and day over the mamba at half the price. The 130$ price tag is WAY too much to pay for its sensor issue.

Other than that, the build is great and has probably the best scroll wheel of any mouse I've used and the mouse buttons are solid. Would be the perfect mouse for me minus the z-axis problem.

Are you using soft mousepads?

It all depends on you really. Personally I have reds atm and I really dislike them. I much prefare the clicky noise from blues. I would say that the majority of people bottom out the keys anyway, and especially when gaming. I know I do smile.gif

I was trying to leave Razer after the problems I have been having with the DAs I have have owned.
I tried the G400, Sensei and did not like either G400 the shape was not to my liking good sensor, the Sensei shape was fine but the sensor I do not like.
Then I saw the Taipan was coming out bought it and cant be happier.

Logitech G400, CM Storm Spawn, Roccat Savu, Zowie AM/EC1 Evo/EC2 Evo, Razer Deathadder BE, Razer Abyssus are the only mice I would recommend based on what I've read on this forum.

Ideally, wait for the Ninox Aurora.
