Thanks Spyker. I think I'm set on the Extreme 6. The deal I'm getting on it is sweet. That and the color scheme of the extreme 6 will match better with the rest of my build.

What's with all the green?wth.gif

Fantastic choice Omega! Didn't they say they had gold polymer caps on that baby, the extreme 6 that is?

Besides Biostar, I'd say the Extreme Series has become the price performance king for Asrock. Great selection man, good luck on your new build! thumb.gif

Omega, here's the rundown of the Extreme6 OC capabilities:
http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/ASRock-Z77-Extreme6-Motherboard/1511/6

Love hardware secrets, one of the few people who discuss this.

http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/ASRock-Z77-Extreme6-Motherboard/1511/7

Asrocks monitoring is pretty good from what I can see.

http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z77%20Extreme6/

Extremely odd, well the Online feature is pretty good, but the No K frequency boost, seems odd to me.

Anyways, that dehumidifying feature is nifty if you live in humid places ahaha. Their software bundle is decent, nothing special. Better than a lot though, I"ve used cyberlinks bundle on a computer before, its aight.

Thanks man. smile.gif It's weird with the hardware secrets page, it'll load the intro page (1) then when you click next page, it just goes to the main menu. wth.gif

I think, for the price, it seriously can't be beat. It's totally feature rich, and has lots of different connectors that other boards, including the Fatality, don't have. While the software suite may not be the greatest, I'm definitely not worried about it. I have enough software to make up for any of those shortcomings.
And that dehumidifying feature is nice. I live in Michigan, so it's definitely very humid around here at times. Especially in the summer. It'll be like 100F and 80-90% humidity. I swear it's like you can never cool off because your sweat doesn't evaporate.
It also has those gold caps on it which is nice.
I'll definitely post up some pics once it's up and running. Should look really nice in my Lian Li case. biggrin.gif

I was told that Asrock used thin/flimsy PCBs, is this true? Can anyone take a measurement so that I might compare it to my Gigabyte boards?

Plus it's got a 1 x Floppy connector, woot! biggrin.gif All kidding aside, I'm getting this mobo for my upcoming build as well and am totally stoked about it.

Hardware secrets page is doing the same thing to me, weird indeed.
