Mouse acceleration Windows 7?

In the MarkC reg fix, do I leave enable pointer precision enabled?

I seem to have an issue where in a game I have mouse delay, and then all of a sudden the lag goes away, then I get it again and this changes throughout gameplay.

Hmmz if you use 6/11 there shouldn't be a difference between EPP on/off with his fix.

Let me explain better.
Let's say I play Bf3. If I move the mouse there is no lag. But as i play on, the amount of input lag begins to increase to a point, then it will start to decrease. This variation is extremely anoying.

That sounds like a video card issue as opposed to a mouse issue. Try bumping your settings down to increase the FPS and see if it still does it.

I have heard 1000 polling rates will do that too and put increased stress in the CPU.

You've heard that a 1000 polling rate can cause the issue i'm reporting?
Also, it is not a video card issue because I had the same issue with my p67/i7 2600k/gtx 580 sli rig.

I read that awhile back that polling rates of 1000 can cause CPU spikes and put unneeded stress on the CPU which in turn will cause frame rate drops but that was right when mice with 1000 polling rates came out, but before multi core CPUs came out so I'm not sure if it's an issue now.

Try setting the mouse at 1000 and open task manager and see how much it spikes?
