I don't know how many times this has been disproven before, but distilled water is not an insulator. It does conduct electricity. It just doesn't do it very well.

Very bad idea. Oil is lighter than water so water will sink to the bottom and short your stuff out. Never EVER mix oil and water when it comes to cooling. Although I do like this idea better -

 

 

Do a full water cooling loop for all your components then submerge the entire thing into oil.

 

Now you have rads OUTSIDE of the oil cooling both the oil and the loop :D
