Wanting a HTPC / Folding hybrid *need ideas*

So Ive been tossing around the idea of checking out folding@home but Ive already have a htpc build in the works. Only thing staying for sure is the corsair 550d case. What Im coming to yall is is this possible? Can I make a htpc/folder pc that can be somewhat quiet and do its job. thumb.gif I will be replacing the dvr with this htpc so it will be recording shows but want it to fold when its idle. And if its possible to make a hybrid is passive cooling out of the question?

I wouldnt have thought you'd get away with passive cooling on a folding system to be honest, but I could be wrong.
What's your budget and have you looked at the AMD APUs?

Well passive cooling isnt a deal breaker. Im using a corsair 550d case with 3 gentle typhoon fans so there will be plenty of air. I just need a idea of some core components to start from. Im hoping to keep this under $400 but if I have a list to go by then I can look for sales. I havnt looked at APUs but if this hybrid idea is possible and I could get away with a APU then sure Id get one.
