Scythe cold solder joint

Thread Starter
I own a Scythe KM05-bk fan controller. Noticed one day fan four stopped working. Found the fan header had one cold solder joint. Because the solder joint was sandwiched in between two PCBs I decided to get an RMA for the item. Fast forward and I receive a refurbished item from Scythe. First thing I do is inspect the solder joints and notice another cold solder joint. This time its for a capacitor. But this time its on the top PCB which means I have access to it.

You guys think I should just go ahead and re-solder the joint? Not trying to loose any more money on shipping. Whats up with scythe? I see them recommended a lot but the quality control on their stuff seems kind of lame.
