Is my Corsair HX1050 Degrading/Faulty?

I have reason to believe my PSU is degrading. I recently had RMA'd both my 580s which at the time I assumed were the culprits for my crashes when they were stressed. During this time I had purchased a GTX 680 which worked fine, never had a crash. Fast forward two weeks I receive 580 replacements from RMA, install them and am having hard system crashes even before Windows loads. I immediately think they sent me trash though I then install the cards individually and stress test them separately only installing one card at any given time. During these stress tests I determined that both cards work fine passing several 3DMark runs. I switch up PCI-E slots and pci-e cables and they still performed well. Once I place both cards in the system though all goes out the window. It's either I have a hard crash before Windows even begins to load up or as soon as the log in screen pops up.

Am I right to assume that the PSU may have degraded and can't provide the same flow of juice it once did? Also this picture of my bios screen is a bit disturbing to me even though I've read that these numbers can't be trusted..

Never had I once had to RMA anything Corsair so I hope all goes well. sad-smiley-002.gif

the RMAs with them go smooth as butter, you have nothing to worry about.

PSUs do degrade over time with a high enough load on them, AKA 2 580s under full stress.

I almost want to break my components on purpose just to go through Corsair RMA again (kidding, of course). It's really a shame not everyone takes care of their customers as well as Corsair does when it comes to support.

Someone delete this thread. I may have found the culprit. A stupid 24 pin extension cable could be to blame. I found one of the pins loose and after connecting the PSU's 24 pin directly to the motherboard I now have the following in readouts in bios,

So in conclusion I probably sent in to RMA 2 good cards that clocked really well, purchased a 680, almost sold my 580 water blocks and almost RMA'd my PSU all due to a extension cable. Should have really been the first thing I removed when I had began to think it was the PSU. mad.gif

Edit: Passed 3DMark in SLI. It was the god damn extension cables. Going to burn them.devil.gif
