Could you stop just chiming in with internet cliches "i am dissapoint" and add to the discussion? WHY are you disappointed?

Come on man act like an adult. I'm sure EVGA and nvidia have their reasons even if I don't see eye to eye with said reasons. I miss the good 'ole GTX 580 days of overclocking.

Why am I disappointed? I was hoping for 1325+ on air and MAYBE 1337 base max boost clock on water. I was hoping they'd put the EVBOT in the back of it at least.

And the first part of the post was me a bit annoyed. I'm ashamed I forgot to check before I post. I'm one of those people that gets wound up for no reason.

Erm, it hit 1376 on air with EV Bot wink.gif or am I misunderstanding you

It's absolute garbage that this 650 dollar card locks out it's main selling feature behind another 80 dollar pay wall. The people at EVGA should be ashamed.

And before anyone starts I've spent like literally 5 grand with this company so just save it. Buy a lightning.

That is why you do not see it today on any cards. It is not too difficult to implement software voltage tuning if you are using a custom VRM.

surely you have seen, by people's comments in recent months, this solution is not appreciated ... I hope that evga will speak with nvidia to change the approach for future series. wink.gif

You guys need to chill with the reps on here. We are lucky that we have inside info from these guys and you just have to accept the fact that they are all either: (A) Very limited in what they are ALLOWED to say here and (B) Are employed by the company they represent and have got to paint their product in the best possible light. They are not lying or shilling, they are just doing their jobs.

Sorry doh.gif Me skimreading thought it was 1276MHz lol

100% agreed with Majin. We should be happy to have these hardware reps here, why act like jerks to them? EVGA has their reasons, Jacob has nothing to do with it. While some may have their reasons for wanting a different card, the classified is still a great card that has hit 1377mhz in an overclock...nothing shabby about that.
